Andrew Toogood speaking. Many people are not in church today because at some point on their journey they got offended. In fact it is the universal condition. In a world today that is increasingly rights conscious the opportunity for us to be offended whenever somebody cuts across us is great. In fact Jesus told us to expect that offence would come. How though do we deal with it? The issue is that if we do not deal with our offence then it will lead to isolation, separation & pain. It blocks the love of God in our lives. There is a better way to live and we need to see offence the way that God sees it. This talk will help you to get over those times where offence grips you so that you can live in real freedom.

I got your link through Bluetree on FB, I just wanted to say that this message has changed my life.
For years I have been stuck in this circle of unforgiveness and self-righteous anger toward my boss and another coworker. I felt left out, like nobody valued my opinion. For the first 15 minutes of the message, I even thought to myself, “[Coworker] should listen to this… boy does SHE NEED TO HEAR THIS!”
And then it dawned on me that I am the one who needed to hear it. And I sat here at my computer in Flint, MI, United States, and cried my eyes out because I PUT ME IN THIS TRAP! And I never had to be here!
My husband is a pastor, and sometimes I wonder why everything seems to be so easy for him… it’s because he’s mastered this concept long ago. He says it with different words, though, and I needed to hear it the way you said it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting God use you to minister to me! I am a changed woman! I CAN believe how good our God is, but it’s AMAZING to feel the freedom that comes from not being offended.
I had the day off work today, so it was rather easy to remain unoffended, but the real test comes tomorrow. I can’t wait! Because in 30 minutes, God changed my heart and my attitude, for all time.
Thank you again!
