Our experience in the world is predominantly that love is given and received based on our actions and performance. The difficulty with that is God does not love us that way, and when we relate to Him based on a faulty view of His love it leads to all sorts of insecurity, frustration and tiredness. We fail to live out the fullness of life that He has for us.
His love is nothing like human love.
